Word Of The Day: Rest

I. Am. Tired. I woke up today and those were the first thoughts that came to mind. In fact, it's been like that a good majority of the day. Then the word WEARY popped into my head. That's pretty spot on. Have you guys ever had that season in your life where you just felt wiped out? Yeah, me too. The good news is that Jesus Himself said "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." When we find our cup running dry, we can go to Jesus and He will fill it. When we find ourselves tired, weary, burdened, Jesus can and will give us rest. As Jerrod and I continue to do these daily word posts, I find myself feeling more and more refreshed. It's only been a couple of days of us each posting. I find myself reading the posts every day, always looking forward to the next one. I'm so excited to see what my brother in Christ is writing, and how the Lord is speaking to him. As I dig into the word more, I'm finding more energy, my heart full of thanks, and faith being restored. It's amazing to see how even just a few minutes a day digging into the word has changed my heart. For those feeling tired, weary, burdened, overwhelmed, I challenge you to open your bible. Read a verse or two and meditate for a few minutes on what you just read. I guarantee that if you do this on a regular basis, you will start to see a transformation. If you do this, let us know how it's working for you. We're excited to hear how God is working in your life!
